Marcell Felipe has enjoyed a successful career as a global tax and business attorney after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Law in 1997. Also the co-founder of America Teve Holdings, Marcell Felipe currently advocates for the promotion of democracy in Cuba as the founder of the Inspire America Foundation.
Based in Miami, Florida, the Inspire America Foundation encourages the growth of democracy across Cuba and the Americas. The organization, which was founded in 2016, works to achieve its aims through a combination of ad campaigns, polls, and collaborative partnerships. In addition, the Inspire America Foundation engages in advocacy work and publishes policy proposals. Currently, the foundation focuses on two specific efforts:
- Ten Initiatives for Cuba, a policy proposal outlining ten steps that align with the reversal of the Obama- era “appeasement” strategy toward Cuba.
- Recommendations to Implement President Trump’s Promise on Cuba, a series of proposals that focus on the reversals of prior U.S. policies and the removal of Obama-era appointees.
